Imagine walking 10,000 steps daily without even realizing it! I easily achieve this with the EGOFIT ComfortDeck M2, an upgrade to my previous under-desk treadmill.

This review will explore the M2's specs, pros, cons, and who it's ideal for.

Specs:

  • Lightweight and compact: only 51-52 lbs, easy to move around an apartment.

  • Dimensions: 41.5" x 22.8" x 7", perfect for under-desk use.

  • Speed range: 0.5 mph to 3.1 mph, good for walking.

  • User weight capacity: 245 lbs.

Pros:

  • 3% incline: Uncommon for under-desk treadmills, offers a slight calorie burn boost and feels good on calves and ankles.

  • Honeycomb cushioning: Absorbs shock, ideal for those with joint issues.

  • Compact and easy to move: Takes up minimal space and has wheels for easy maneuvering.

  • Step counter: Tracks steps accurately, even during pauses.

  • Cumulative day count: Maintains your step count throughout the workday, even after stopping and starting the machine.

  • Remote control: Convenient for adjusting speed and stopping/starting the treadmill.

  • Super quiet: Perfect for apartment and small space environments.

Cons:

  • Metric to Imperial conversion issue: I had trouble switching between metric and imperial units despite troubleshooting with the company.

  • 3% incline affects desk ergonomics: The incline may require adjustments to your standing desk setup to maintain proper posture.

  • Price: Slightly pricier than other under-desk treadmills. (As of recording, $499 with a current sale on the website).

Who is this treadmill ideal for?

  • Busy professionals struggling to find exercise time during the day.

  • Individuals looking to lose weight and burn extra calories with the 3% incline.

  • People with joint problems who can benefit from the shock-absorbing honeycomb cushioning.

Overall

Despite the minor conversion issue and ergonomic considerations, I was able to walk 10,000 steps unnoticed throughout the workday.

The compact size, quiet operation, and step tracking make it a great option for integrating movement into your workday.

The price reflects the features and quality, making it a worthwhile investment for those seeking a convenient way to boost their step count.
