How to reduce bloating while dieting or eating healthier // Low-FODMAP foods
Bloating is uncomfortable. Period.
Nobody likes to feel bloated and gassy.
But unfortunately, bloating seems to happen more frequently when we start to eat healthier and try to lose weight.
So what gives?!
Well, if this bloating issue is happening to you, then you might be sensitive to FODMAPs (aka fermentable oligosaccharides, disaccharides, monosaccharides and polyols). FODMAPs are short-chain carbohydrates (sugars) that the small intestine absorbs poorly.
